Boghead 2

1 turbine | 67m to blade tip | 500kW

Boghead 2

Boghead Farm wind turbine no.2 was developed by Lomond Energy and granted planning permission in June 2015. It is located adjacent to the Boghead wind turbine and shares the same site entrance and access track.

The EWT wind turbine has a maximum height to blade tip of 67m above ground level having been reduced in height from a proposed 77m to resolve concerns about potential interference to the Glasgow Airport radar.

The site is located within gently undulating agricultural fields used for rough grazing and pasture which can be continued throughout the construction and operational phases of the project.
