About us

Lomond Energy is an independent onshore wind farm company based in rural central Scotland.

Since its formation in 2003 it has established itself as a niche windfarm developer both of our own projects and in partnership with others, whilst also providing windfarm development management and consultancy services to the wider industry.

A highly professional organisation, Lomond Energy is well regarded in its field and works with partners across Scotland to bring significant environmental and economic benefits to local communities.

Its business model focuses on joint venture, partnership and consultancy arrangements to develop projects in the right place and to ensure that their economic benefits are retained as locally as possible.

Our core team has a combined background of over four decades of project development experience, including over 30 years working in the UK and US wind power industries. We know the challenges that developers face in making projects happen.
